I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year!  Here is a little information about me.  I am looking forward to getting to know your child and your family this year.
I graduated from Penn State University and began my teaching career right out of college at Stafford Elementary.  I have been very lucky to call SES home for the past 19 years.  I have taught first grade every year except one.  That year I looped with a class and taught second grade.  First grade is where my heart is and I love teaching it!  It is hard to believe that my first years' students have now graduated college!  I am lucky to still keep in touch with some of my former students and love seeing them when I am out and about.
I am married to a wonderful and understanding husband, Jonathan, and I have three amazing kids of my own.  My daughter Emma will be a junior in high school this year, my son Owen will be going into 8th grade and my son Logan will be a fifth grader at SES.  Needless to say, they keep me busy!
I also have two spoiled rotten dogs that were the inspiration for our classroom theme.  They are Boston Terriers and their names are Toby and Rigby.  I am sure your children will hear stories about them from time to time.
I love Photography and scrapbooking.  I will be take a lot of pictures this year and look forward to sharing them with you from time to time.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year.
